On March 1 – 3, 2019; Shihan Tony Rosa held his yearly seminar with instructors attending from Puerto Rico and different parts of the country. Special guest Sensei Pat Shepard from South Dakota visiting Shihan Tony Rosa after 30 years. Seminar focused on traditional Shotokan Kihon, Heian Kata’s, Wankan & Meikyo. Drills, on Sen-no-Sen, Go-no-Sen and Tai-no Sen. Explaining the importance of distance and timing with technique adapted to situation. The lessons were very instructional and in depth on stances and intent of technique. Sensei’s in attendance: Jose Ramos, Hector Vargus, Felix Ramos, Albert Cruz, Felipe Rodriguez, Manual Vega, Jaime Paris, Rick Lopez and Jose Torres. Visiting SBKS participants: Dennis Deliz, Alexis Agostini, Brendon Hopwood, Pedro Chaviano, Amaya Velez and Frank Ramirez Jr., Hanshi. On Sunday 3 March after the seminar participants enjoyed a cookout at Sensei Ricks home.
