During a recent visit to Sifu Lester A. Figueroa in Arizona to celebrate Simo Christine Figueroa’s 5 decades on this earth, Frank Ramirez JR., Hanshi and Wayne Stevenson, Sifu were selected and introduced as the First Executive Board members to the One Heart Siu Lum Pai Hung Kuen Organization (OHSLPHG-AZ) in Chandler, AZ. During this memorable celebration and visit they were asked to test one of Sifu Figueroa’s promising pupils. Traditional teachings in the Gung Fu environment have adopted many cultural ways and teach the family environment when it comes to a teacher student relationship. At OHSLPHG-AZ we have maintained those values and it is the Sifu’s recognition of a student that earns them the Title of YUP MOON DAI GEE “In door disciple” it is the student chosen/accepted to learn the teachers’ skill, and can carry out this teaching. Ms. Christine Milionis has dedicated herself to the fullest extent of the art and earned that title and is considered the Senior Female Martial arts student in AZ under Sifu Figueroa’s tutelage. The One Heart Siu Lum Pai Hung Kuen Arizona Family and the Sanchin Bushi Karate Do Association congratulates and embraces its family member in her martial journey.
