ISKA Sierra Camp 2014 International Santen Karate Association (ISKA) held their Sierra Camp on August 1-3, at Jack L. Boyd Outdoor School, Fish Camp, Ca. Special guest instructor was Avi Rokah Sensei, commencing with Kata Review, kumite foot work and Scientific methods of body mechanics to incorporate in ones martial art. Using traditional Shotokan Karate ideology, with understanding all techniques are dropped to center along with correct breathing; easier said than done. Hanshi Vincent Cruz continues to be the example of commitment to their art while in a fragile state of health, continues to participate in the Camp. Thank you to all the instructors that helped with the event and looking forward for next year’s camp!
