May 4, 2014 at the Taiseikan Hombu Dojo in North Miami Beach, FL was the place of martial artists demonstrating their skills for advancement. Belts tested were Kyu belts; Shodan-Ho and Iaido ranking for Yudansha's. All examinees showed their art with positive results. Honorable mention goes to Fidel Montalban, Hanshi Judan, student of the late great Peter Urban Sensei. He presented the new book; USA GOJU "URBAN GO JU" written and testing, R. H. Saffouri, Sensei. At the completion of the event R. H. Saffouri Sensei, presented his Father with a Samurai Sword thanking him for teaching him good work ethic! Styles in attendance were Shotokan, Goju, Sanchin Bushi, and Wusu Kung-Fu. At the completion of the activity a great spread of food for all in attendance. We look forward to having more activities at the Taiseikan Hombu Dojo in the 2014 year. Thank you to all attendee's. Ous!
