R & R Martial Arts (SBKS) Orlando, FL



We would like to give our sincere thanks to Sensei’s Charlie & James Rivera, as well as their father, Marcos Ramos, Shihan - for inviting us to participate in the grand opening of the R & R Martial Arts / Sanchin Bushi Karate System Dojo in Orlando, Florida (R&R-SBKS).   These senior instructors showed their dedication to their art which was easily seen by all as they demonstrated their individual skills as the day progressed.   Some of the invited guests in attendance were: Hanshi Moises Colon, Grand Master Baez, and Tony Rosa, Kyoshi from South Florida.  Additional invited guests were Dennis Deliz, Kyoshi - from Largo, Florida; Joe Rodriguez, Kyoshi - from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico; Troy Ah Yo, Renshi - from Charleston, South Carolina; and Jerry Lozada, Sensei - from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.  All participants enjoyed a great day of sharing in the Martial Arts!  Styles that were represented in this grand opening: Taekwondo, Shotokan, Okinawan Kobudo, and Matsubayashi & Kobayashi Shorinryu Karate.  The Dojo presented an old Oriental setting, but with today’s evolution of the art.  As the day progressed several demonstrations of different Katas and Kobudo along with many different techniques were taught by the invited guests.   I would like to make an Honorary Mention to Brenda Rivera for her continued energy and the catalyst for the opening of R & R Martial Arts Dojo!
