Welcome to the 2nd Sanchin Bushi Karate System, International Seminar and Banquet, scheduled for July 18 – 20, 2013 (Thursday thru Sunday) to be held in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Thursday is a reunion day at the FARO Conference Center to meet other members, invited guest and to distribute schedules of activities for the weekend.
Below is some of the information to fly in to Aguadilla, PR:
American Airlines have a lot of flights that fly into San Juan International Airport, Puerto Rico (SJU). They have at least three flights a day from-and-to the States. Once you pick up your bags, go out to the second curb and wait for the Rental car/buses to take you to the rental agency for pick up of rental. Suggest Budget or Hertz, because they have been my pick for the last 30 years. Pick up and return vehicle to the same place, a credit card is required and I suggest you pay the extra $20.00 dollars for insurance per day! Take my word for it. They give a map that shows how to get to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The Budget and Hertz for International numbers are below. It takes about two hours to get to Aguadilla, PR. There are plenty of signs to Number (2) Highway which takes you to Aguadilla you will see the country side and beautiful scenery.

Once you arrive at the Airport or Faro Conference Center, please contact; Shihan Joe Rodriguez - 787-295-1773 or 787-819-1896 or Frank Ramirez at 786-586-7969 to check in with us. We will be able to pick you up from the airport in Aguadilla, PR not San Juan! All activities will be conducted in a 6 miles radius, including the berthing and meals. The meeting place before any event will be the Tikki Hut outside the building. The cost at the Faro Conference is more reasonable: The cost per night is $87.00 with two beds, makes it easier for the cost sharing of the rooms during the event: The Marriot is costly, but is available across the street.
On the Coast Guard side of the Air Base are rentals for Active & Retirees, I will be able to rent 2 or 3 houses depending on the number of attendees’, cost is $75.00 dollars a day with a $5.00 cost for any other members over 2 years of age, and only a total of 6 personnel per house. If you are planning to stay in these houses I will need at least $225.00 up front for 1st day and have the down payment to me by May 1st, 2013. The houses have Air Conditioning, 3 rooms 2 baths, dishes, washer and dryer, TV with cable and DVD, just like at home!
